The car's movement is frozen, which can lead to a static picture, but there is plenty of speed in this pic; the car doesn't look as though was parked at the time. The bonus, for me, is the dust which adds to the impression of movement and masks what might have been a distracting background.

Great picture Barry, are you still alive? what I like about this picture is that it seems like it is heading straight for you. The dust definatly adds to the cars movement and i think the bright blue really stands out against the brown background.

Absolutely a great picture! I think Leanne has hit the nail on the head when saying the blue colour on the car stands out nicely againts the dusty background and the movement is seen at the same time. Good, clear shot.
